Mike Boyd has created a series of very popular videos on YouTube called "Learn Quick". In each video he attempts to learn a new skill in a short space of time - the skills covered so far include throwing a boomerang, solving a Rubik's cube, doing a wheelie, juggling, lock picking and many more.
A couple of months ago, Mike asked if we could help him out with his latest challenge: learning to play the violin from (literally) scratch. We were happy to oblige, and loaned him a Cremona SV-600 Violin, newly set up by our violin specialist Stephen Silcock in Birmingham. Mike collected the violin from our London branch, and set about his task.
