I was in your shop today and bought myself an Ashbury mandolin. Can I just
take this opportunity to say your customer service was excellent, Iíve been
in a lot of music shops where Iíve felt either ignored or pushed towards
buying something out of my price range. The person who helped me today
(sorry I didnít get his name) was really respectful of my budget and allowed
me to make my own decision, while still making me feel like I could come
back and ask questions. Iíve never picked up a mandolin in my life (I play
uke) but I wasnít made to feel stupid. Iím definitely going to recommend
your shop to friends, and Iíll be visiting again myself. Iím completely in
love with my mandolin and Iíve even been able to play a song on it (kind of,
wouldnít dare to play it publicly yet!).

I have been wanting to take up the violin again for some time after giving it up as a teenager - it has been some years and I had little knowledge of what to look for in my new purchase.
Yesterday I bought a new Stentor violin with the help of Will Simpson in Bristol, and I just have to commend him for his exceptional service. He was so patient, understanding and knowledgeable, even playing me a few notes so I could hear the difference between various models! Not only that, Will also gave me a fantastic deal to set me up with all I needed to get started. I am extremely happy with my purchase and very excited to be learning to play a magical instrument again at last.
