Cookie Settings

Your browser needs to be set to allow cookies from in order for you to add items to your shopping cart.

A cookie is a small file that is saved on your computer by the website you are visiting in order to temporarily store a small amount of information about your visit, for example any preferences you have set or items you have added to your shopping cart.

To enable cookies for our shopping cart pages

If you are using Internet Explorer:
  • on the top menu choose 'Tools', 'Internet Options'
  • Click on the 'Privacy' tab.
  • Click on 'Sites'
  • Type in '' and click on 'Allow', then 'OK, then 'Apply'.

If you are using Firefox:
More recent versions of Firefox

  • Type in "about:permissions" into the location bar (where you would normally type a web address)
  • If you can find '' in the list of sites, select it
  • Under 'Set Cookies' make sure 'Allow' is selected.
  • If you can't find hobgoblin in the list, select 'All Sites' and under 'set cookies', choose 'allow' or 'allow for session' (which would allow cookies temporarily so you can place your order).
  • Then open a new tab and continue!

In Windows XP

  • On the File menu choose 'Tools', 'Options'
  • Click on the Privacy tab or icon.
  • Select the Cookies tab and either
  • Click on 'exceptions', type in '' and click 'Allow', then 'Close', then 'OK'.

Latest versions of Google Chrome

  • On the right hand side of the address bar, a picture of a cookie will appear when a website has tried to set a cookie.
  • If the cookie has a red cross through it, then the browser has blocked cookies from that site.
  • Click on the Cookie to bring up a menu, in which you can choose to "always allow cookies from the current site".
  • Then click 'Done'

If you are using an older version of Google Chrome:

  • Click on the toolbar icon at the top right of your browser window.
  • On the tools menu that pops up, click on 'settings'.
  • At the bottom of the settings page, click on 'show advanced settings'.
  • Under 'Privacy', click on 'Content Settings'
  • Under 'Cookies', click on 'manage exceptions'
  • In 'Hostname Pattern', type in '' and select 'Allow', then click on 'OK'.
  • Do the same for ''.
