End of an era: Hobgoblin Milton Keynes

March 2014

After 10 years, Dave has retired and Hobgoblin in Newport Pagnell has closed

Hobgoblin Music in Newport Pagnell (Milton Keynes) has now closed its doors, as Dave Soulsby (the owner-manager of the MK branch) has retired. There is now a different music shop open at the same location, with new ownership.
We would like to express our thanks to Dave for the years he put in with Hobgoblin - his was always a popular, characterful and well run shop, and will be much missed. Dave has always been a great believer in Hobgoblin's aims and values, and has been a stalwart Hobgoblin team member. We wish him a retirement that is restful or as adventurous as he desires!

We're hoping very much we can start a new venture in the East Anglia area in the future (and would be interested in hearing from prospective franchisee) - in the mean time we will continue to serve this area from our Birmingham and London branches.

Melodeon whizz Simon Care was working part time with Dave in Milton Keynes - soon we are hoping to organise a company-wide tour of melodeon workshops with Simon care so he can continue to share his expertise with Hobgoblin customers.

Keep an eye on the Hobgoblin website for exciting news about other changes coming soon!
